The SSAC’s publishing house “Abiturient” journal served for enlightening the public, especially applicants and teachers. The journal plays an important role as a comprehensive, accurate, reliable source of information on process, direction and stages of admission campaign. Considering the profound interest of the general public to the SSAC’s publications, the Commission launched their online purchase system. This system enables the users to buy all issues and special issues, including test collections methodological aids and statistical materials. At the same time, PDF versions of all above-mentioned materials are also available.

The classification of the SSAC’s official, scientific-methodological and informative publications is as follows:

Official Regulations

Admission rules and announcements by different education levels, majors open to admission, admission quota, renewals in organizations of examinations, list of admitted applicants, pass scores on majors, other decisions, information and announcements of the SSAC.

Teaching and Test Preparation Resources

Admission programs on subjects, expert explanations concerning admission examinations, methodological aids, model test items, test collections (in print and electronic format), programs of majors requiring aptitude, other materials on examination technology.

Test Collections for different grades

The SSAC published test item collections on Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, the Azerbaijani language, Literature and the Russian language for both Azerbaijani and Russian sector graduates.  These collections include test items used in admission examinations to higher education institutions  (on basis of complete and general secondary education), to the vocational education and training institutions (on basis of complete secondary education),  to military high schools, and in trial examinations in the years of 1994-2014 and also test items published in different issues of “Abituriyent” journal. 25% of test items are new models and have not been used in any examinations.

New Assessment Resources

To provide an alternative testing resource for teachers to assess pupils’ learning outcomes as well as the degree of preparation for the admission test, a new workbook with two parts based on new curriculum was introduced to the public. First part includes open-ended test items, evaluation standards and second part includes traditional multiple choice items.
